Take part in Imaginarium of Tears.
A tear can become something you keep — or the project can become part of your own space.
If a meaningful tear appears in your life, the Tear Collection Kit allows you to preserve it and send it back for microscopy. Your tear is crystallized, photographed and transformed into a personal image or finished artwork connected to that moment.
If you would rather collect an existing work, explore artworks and the postcard collection from the Imaginarium of Tears archive — each originating from a real tear and the story behind it.
Cannot currently afford a personal commission?
The Tear Access Fund offers fully funded Digital Tear Collection Kit places to selected participants for whom the regular commission price is a genuine financial barrier. Community contributions provide €150 and I contribute a €50 artist fee reduction, covering the regular €200 value. Recipients do not pay anything.

Tear Collection Kit
Collect a tear during a meaningful moment and have its crystallized microscopic landscape photographed as your personal artwork.

Postcard Collection
Ten real human tears from ten different people, bringing emotional, reflex and basal tears together in one physical collection.
For moments worth remembering.
A tear can connect an artwork to a moment in your life — a farewell, a wedding, the arrival of a child or another experience you want to keep close.
The Tear Collection Kit lets you preserve a genuine tear first and decide what it becomes later. The returned sample is prepared, crystallized and photographed under the microscope, creating an image that can remain connected to the person, date and story behind it.
The crystalline pattern does not identify an emotion. What gives the image meaning is its provenance: knowing whose tear it was and why that particular moment mattered. Explore a few ways the kit can become part of a personal keepsake or artwork.
